I teach research methods for the department of curriculum and instruction. My recent scholarly highlight includes a paper in process titled "Female Representation in Gikuyu Popular Music: A Catalyst for Domestic Violence, that has been accepted for presentation at Women's Worlds 2002: The International Interdisciplinary Congress on Women. "Gendered Worlds: Gains and Challenges" - July 21-26, 2002, Makerere University, Kampala Uganda.

Another paper in process for conference presentation is "The shifting landscape in distance learning: Perspectives of online discourse, to be presented at "Beyond Chalk and Talk: Enhancing student learning in Higher education. Northeast Regional conference on excellence in learning and teaching. April 12-13, 2002, New York State University at Oswego.
