Madeline Sonik is a writer, anthologist, andÊPh.D candidate at the Centre for the Study of Curriculum and Instruction. Her works include a novel, Arms (Nightwood Editions 2002), and a short story collection, Drying the Bones (Nightwood 2000).ÊShe has co-edited twoÊanthologies,ÊFresh Blood: New Canadian Gothic Fiction (Turnstone 1998)Êand Entering the Landscape (Oberon 2001); a third anthology, Canadian Gothic: Tales of Unease from Pre-Confederation to the Present, is forthcoming with Wilfrid Laurier UP.
