I am currently Chair of the Dept of Curriculum & Instruction at UVic. My interests are in: Antiracist/multicultural teacher education and teacher education curriculum; writing and teaching poetry; response to literature; and rhetoric and composition studies. Recently my poems have appeared in English Quarterly, Other Voices and AnthOlogY. Scholarly articles have appeared in The Journal of Teaching Writing, Canadian Ethnic Studies, Journal of Educational Thought, and the International Journal of Adolescent and Adult Literacy.
