Dr. Verriour has taught Drama in Education to undergraduate and graduate students since 1978. Currently he is on medical leave of absence. His research and writings are concerned with the imagination and the interconnections people make in their lives through dramatic play and story. His most recent writing "Stories of an Itinerate Wayfarer: Narrative in the Space of Healing" is concerned with the power of story to heal the body and the spirit, and to transform the view of one's self in relation to others.
