Welcome to Chameleon.
Chameleon continues to grow bigger and brighter, and
there is truly a celebratory spirit at work.
In the past issuesover two decades nowthere
have been a number of writers whose work has subsequently
been published and has found the hands of children across
the country. With this issue, PJ Sarah Collins' Sam &
Nate will soon be at large in the world, with Orca Books
as midwife. For certain, other works will follow...of Grandpas
and treasure, paper cranes and clocks, sloths and Sneaky
cats....
The brightness grows with the illustrationsthe visuals
of Langara College's Illustration class. In our world of
colour and image, in which black words on white paper are
not nearly enough, the pictures will keep the stories in
those hands.
As for bigger, againa second yearChameleon
is online: www.educationalinsights.ca.
This year, the creation of Chameleon has been created
with a special effortthe generous sharing of many.
Of talent and creativity and time. So celebratethere
is magic afoot!
